I like how you did that! Very cute.(the filming and the grooming) Daisy is such a good horse, she stands so nice and still. It was really a wonderful day. While you did this I was lying on the porch on my chair in the sun!!
Yes, you did spell gorgeous right....you know, ironicly, when I got her, she was so horrible at standing still to groom that I almost didn't buy her--she seriously NEVER stopped moving when she was tied...it's nice to hear that she stands still well, lol!
That was fun seeing you do that! I noticed you let Daisy sniff the brush before you began, is that a way of letting her know what you're about to do? Also, what is that strapped below your right knee? I need your tips on horse grooming so I can apply some of the same principles to gromming the donkeys! :-)
I let Daisy sniff the brush because some horses like to know what you're going to do--they might spook if you just start brushing 'suddendly'...also, if I don't let her smell it, she goes craning her head back the whole time to see what it is! LOL... The thing strapped to my leg is a cell phone-it's a cellphone case for riders that binds around your leg-I take my mom's cell phone with me when I ride "in case of emergencies"...:D
It sounds like you take care of Daisy so well and even anticipate any issues she may have before she does...that's a true partnership! Good idea about the phone.
That was a pretty cool video, but then again I love any videos. :) The horse I usually ride stomps his feet when he is cross tied. I don't mind, but other people do then and start correcting him.
You are a super fast groomer! And you put some real muscle into it, too.
Daisy looks so relaxed, though. She seems to think she's being massaged instead of brushed. hehe
I was going to ask the same question about the thing on your leg. What a great idea to always have a cell phone when riding or with your horse, just in case....Probably gives Mama a peace of mind, too.

OH I sure think she likes that :) Reminds me of how Tumbleweed is when I brush her :) They like to be beautified.
Daisy's such a good horse. She stands perfectly still when you groom her! She's gorgeous! (wait did I spell that right?)
