(My First!) Sunday Still's Challange: Fences

I've never done a Sunday Still's before! I've been wanting to, though, so here I am! :D My next thing to try is Macro Monday...we'll see.

This week's challenge was fences...this pick is kinda lame for the topic, but I took it with my camera on a fence, so you see the fence and stuff soooo yeah...here I am....welll, the first one was taken from below, but you STILL SEE A FENCE! Ok so lame-ooo, but I tried! :D I just liked the pics, I guess. :)

It's "I Love Jesus" (ILJ), back when I visited her in April...that's her and her lesson horse, Abel, who is AWESOME. He's a huge Appaloosa draft cross (right?...I think I'm missing something)...he's cool. Sooo anyway, that's my first Sunday Still! :D

Check out http://sundaystills.wordpress.com to see more "fences" all over blogland! :D

Btw, she also raises Guiding Eye's puppies, and is sending her first puppy she raised off to training today (His "IFT")! It's a bittersweet day; wishin' you luck, Beau! You did a great job with him, ILJ! We'll miss him; can't wait to see how far he goes.
You did so well with him, I'm anxious to see how Dahlia turns out! Good luck, I'm thinking of you!! <3

Riding the Energizer Bunny

Hey!
Sorry this took FOREVER to post, youtube is very unreliable at times...I uploaded this video overnight, and it *apparently* didn't upload, and it said "Video failed to upload" and I checked my youtube just now and it was there X-(...anyway, :D at least it's on!

I love my blog because through it I made a great friend, who I've mentioned before, "I Love Jesus" (ILJ for short ;-)) and she came and visited me again last Friday! We went for a nice hour long trail ride through the snow; she rode Daisy, and I rode Bonita...Jean has me ride Bonita lately because she needs to be exercised...anyway, it was absolutely wonderful to ride and "chat"...afterward, ILJ taped me! Here's the video of me riding Bonita...she tends to be pretty energetic when you first get on...you can kind of tell in the video, and that's after a 50 min. trail ride! I look a little funny at the last canter because I was attempting to balance and "post" to her canter, to settle her down...anyway, enjoy. :)

Visit to My Brother's Place

So, I know this is totally overdue, but I'm going to post about my trip to my brother, Markus's, house. He is living with his girlfriend Kristin and her daughter, Savannah. They have 4 horses-Sunny, a Tennessee Walker, who gave an unexpected foal this spring named Lightning, Bob, Savannah's paint pony, and Markus's own, new horse, Buck, a buckskin quarter horse. They also have 4 dogs-Sasha, Markus's (lively, but REALLY FUN) rottweiler/German shepherd mix girl, Jezabelle, Kristin's sable German Shepherd, Bandit, an Australian shepherd originally bought for Savannah, and their indoor dog, Toby, a Pomeranian mix, I think. They live in a cute little town, and it's strange because when we pulled up, I didn't think it was the place, because it was right by/inside the village! But behind the house is the horse's pasture, and it feels like you're in the country...I guess you are. Anyway, the slide show is of our (my cousin Anika and my) visit there. We got to ride the horses, visit some other horses that are near them, bath and play with the dogs, play with Toby and Savannah, everything. Thanks SOOO much to Markus and Kristin for letting us come! It was a great time!

BTW, the "horses on the hill" in the slide show, and Ratchet and the baby, are not Markus or Kristin's horses. They are boarded at the place M. and K. used to board at. The horses graze on a BEAUTIFUL, big hill and it was just gorgeous out there, with all the black and white paint horses. The goats in the pictures are from the same place, and they were really cute, too! I have noticed that goats are very photogenic.

I know this post isn't Daisy related, but I decided to let it slip...sorry if you don't find it that interesting! :-/
