This is a video I took yesterday while I was riding Miss Daisy. Today the weather is very cold-only around 10 degrees, and tonight it's only 7 degrees, with wind chills in the negatives! (My mother is reading the temperature from where we live, and that of Florida. Oh, what a teaser! She wants to move to Florida.) I went riding with Daisy today, but it was crazy! It was cold and windy, and she was REALLY hyper. We only went half way down the driveway-pretty much nothing. When we were coming back she was so excited (or scared from the wind) that she started...well, I don't know what she was doing! She was doing a half canter, half galloping, side pass. It was strange. She was crazy! I went in again then-I wasn't really worried about her behavior, but it could have been dangerous, I suppose. So, that's it for today. I just cleaned the stall in the cold.

Wow- that was so cool! I felt like you were just giving me a tour while I was riding on daisy! I think you should definately do another video like this one! Bye!
Fun--thanks for taking me on a ride outside! Are you using a helmet cam or just holding a regular camera? I just bought a helmet camera...haven't had time to try it yet:-)
I used just a regular camera-I ride western, so I only needed one hand to guide Daisy. A helmet cam sounds pretty cool!
Yes, I think I will do another video like this, in the summer sometime, when I go to visit the mini ponies down our street....I should do a post about them sometime!
Schoenes Video, Meliss' .
I think it would be scary to try and video tape and ride a horse at the same time. Aren't you scared for your life?
No, I'm not scared for my life. Daisy's a good horse. I trust her, and you know, I think she trusts me.
What a great video! It reached 55 degrees here today and Spring is (prematurely) in the air. It was fun hearing all the ice crackling around you in the video..are you getting tired yet of all that snow?
Thanks for the ride. I've always been fearful of horses, but I think I would love Daisy Mae.
Hi,
That was cool. Was it hard to ride and hold the camera?
That was a fun video! Just hang on to your camera. Don't drop it the way I did mine. Brrr! Your hand looked cold! I would want gloves on.
I think it is very good that you are speaking some German for your family in Germany. Keep it up! You are very blessed to be bilingual from birth with such ease.
